BBC iPlayer on Sony Bravia discontinued in September?

I've just opened the iPlayer app on my Sony Bravia KDL-40CX523 TV and am faced with a message stating this version of iPlayer is being discontinued in September.

Is there going to be a new version I can use or does this mean iPlayer won't work at all on my TV after September?

I have 2 now tv boxes and 2 roku boxes ( same but without the sky tie up ), I gave up on the "smart" part of my Sony tv long ago, never was very good apart from the iplayer. Get a roku or now tv box they are superb, work at quite low speed ( I get about 2.5mps and can run 2 at the same time ! ) and are cheap as chips - £15 quid with 3 months package or 2 months movies for Now Tv boxes
