Hi there

I would guess that there is an element of anti-copyright protection going on in those files.  For example - Cinavia used to mute the audio on the 20minute mark via a watermark embedded in the audio.

I would re-download from a different source instead, besides a 2.6GB file for a 3hour movie at 2050kb/s bitrate does not do the movie justice.

Also, i have edited your post for your protection

Cheers

Thanks Quinnicus.

I ran this MP4 file together with the SRT subtitle file in MKVToolNix using default settings and now

the movie doesn't stop at about 26min anymore - strange.

Another thing is that I normally have to save the SRT file in unicode big endian for it to work on the TV, otherwise

it just shows question marks instead of actual text - however VLC does not like unicode big endian.

Anyway now I know what to do if it doesn't work.

Thanks for editing out things I didn't think of
