ANYONE HAVING PCG-GRX51/BP :smileyconfused:: :!: I NEED IMMEDIATE HELP TO SOLVE SOME OF MY DRIVERS PROBLEMS, LIKE: DISPLAY, FN KEYS, AND AV OUT [*-:smileyhappy:] I LOST MY CDs CAME ALONG WITH THIS LAPTOP AND USING XP PRO.

Thanks MrShrek regarding BIOS info. Do you have any idea from where I can get the software/driver for Scroll APPS for PCG-GRX Series? Please advise. Thanks
At the moment, my Scroll is not working and it was working fine before the reinstallation of XP Pro.

here is your model driver download page, it is in Japanese but some one them are written in english so you should recognise them.
Hi Mr Shrek, Thank you for your great support. I downloaded the required drivers sucessfully. Some drivers are working fine but some are not due to Japanese language problem . I think, I need to hire a Japanese [*-:smileyhappy:] to translate for me in English...lol
I did reformate twice but it was useless. Mostly drivers/software are not compatable with my laoptop.
One of my big problem is that I cant connect two PCs using cross-over wire. My laptop shows the other PC (desktop) without any activity. I noticed someone in this discussion room was having same problem but at the end, I dont see his problem was solved or not?
I would request Mr. Kee-Lo also to look into this matter and advise.

Hi... Actually, after the reinstallation of XP Pro., I start facing the following problems:
1. Display is very Dull
2. Fn keys are not working
3. Networking Connections are dead (No activity as explained earlier)
4. Scroll APPS (Jog Navigator) is not working.
PS: from the above, item # 1 and 3 is very important to be fixed ASAP.
For your info. since this laptop was purchased from Japan, so the keyboard is designed japanese. I think, XP Pro does not support such drivers/software to match the same type of model.
Please advise.

1: check your screen resolutions
2: funtion key drivers can easierly downloaded
3: it might the right drivers
4: same as number 2
as i said if you find out the spec and once compared with the us one so you can download and install it.

I am back home :smileygrin: . You know the site you told me earlier for japanese drivers, I downloaded several drivers including Sony Jog Dial Navigator. With the help of Jog Navigator, things are very much better now. Thank you..... Now, the display problem is gone forever . I have total control over Fn keys as well as Jog Dial Navigator (Scroll). I can adjust the brightness, volume control, mute, LCD/VGA, LCD/TV, etc.... Great efforts by you
Lets come to Network issue: I have also upgraded driver for Network Pro 100/VE. But the problem still appears? I can see the connection via CrossOver cable, but no activity? I can see Desktop PC name in the Laptop but can't see Laptop name in the Desktop? When I click on Desktop PC name, it says you do not have previlages ....... contact your Lan Admin......???? Please advise

did you download all the available drivers from mentioned websites? including the sony DLL?
