With the help of Mr Shrek, I found some drivers which are close matches to my laptop. I put them on downloading and will give a try one by one in order to resolve the problems.

QUESTION: Is it advisable to update drivers for BIOS??

BIOSes don't need drivers.

dont update the BIOS unless you are sure, just try installing what you need most first.
