ahoy there folks. first post here although ive been a vaio user for about 6 years.
after getting my fx604, i bought the a117s, a gorgeous piece of kit, although im now looking for a serious upgrade.
i was about to buy the top of the line ar - series model ar51su, but sony have just announced the ar790u at the ces on jan 7th, which looks like the absolute business, the daddy of them all.
my question is, does anyone here know when this model (or something similar) will hit europe? americans can pre - order this unit now, and it will ship out at the end of january.
so far i have found no mention of this on the european sites, or even in japan (where i am currently living). we are the poor relations once again!
my sister is coming over to visit me in tokyo at the end of feb; i was kind of hoping she could bring me the big boy with her - so if anyone knows when the new premium beast is going to hit the uk, please post about it here!
