Yes, I did this and it works fine on my VGN-FE41S. You find the XP drivers and VAIO utilities for this model here.

ok done everything the only problem is the camera dont work any ideas???it say no iput

Have you installed the driver for the camera? Also you need the "Hotfix - kb835221.exe". Both are part of the XP driver package I suggested. I will look up what I have installed in addition. My camera works fine now.
