How To Update Atheros Drivers

Hi guys,

I downloaded the latest Atheros drivers for my wireless card.  They came in a zip file and I have no idea how to install them!!

Can anyone help please?

Hi bingefeller,

Are you referring to your VPCEJ2B1E/B? If so the latest Wireless LAN update downloads as EP0000255410.exe. The instructions for install are:

1. Exit all running programs.
2. Download this update and save it to your hard drive.
3. When the download is completed, locate the downloaded file in the location you specified.
4. Double-click EP0000255410.exe to run it.
5. Wait while the wizard updates your software.
6. When the installation is complete, restart the VAIO.

Hi Rich,

Apologies for not giving my model - it slipped my mind!  But, you were quite correct and I do have the VPCEJ2B1E. 

I installed the driver and it appears to be working fine.  Thank you!
