With my Z1-XMP every time I switch the wireless LAN on, after a few minutes while the system is working properly, the PC freezes (it doesn't accept neither Ctrl-Alt-Canc).
I have also tried to install the"9000" and the "20000" driver I have found in the download section download of the Vaio site. No good news !!
Any suggestion ? Is there anything broken ??. Pls give me an answer whatever it is.

Does CPU usage go to max? I have something similar with my GRX (PCI WiFi card). Problems with wireless connectivity seems to be a recurring theme . . . .
Sorry, but the CPU usage sems to be absolutely normal.
Other information:
SP2 installed (but the same happened with SP1)
Resources for Wireless 2200BG:
IRQ 09
Memory interval: D0201000-D0201FFF
No I/O interval
Driver version:
8.0.12.20000
The system still hangs when I switch the WLAN on.
Are there others with the same issue?
It seems to be the common problem with freezes on the K115z also. Mind you I have tried pcmcia cards and they also cause a freeze after a couple of hours.
Are you using 3rd party software to access the WLAN?
I have never used any special SW to access the WLAN.
The silly thing is that bluetooth makes its best but no way with the WLAN.
