I just wanted to say cheers to nick for your help and that i think i will take this back and change it for the sony valo A4 which is the same price at the same place and looks better.
The A4 is park of the k series isnt it?

go for the A117x models..

the ATI radeon 9700 should keep u covered most of todays games with reasonable gfx settings,

Welcome to Club Vaio Chris, the A-series is a fine machine you would do well to get any of them really, but the ones the guys recommend I'm sure have the edge
