Afternoon,
A month ago I bought a Vaio VGC-3M - It had pixels that was not working properly. I sent it back to Sony, they replaced the screen and it came back.
Now it has more pixels out and the keyboard is not working properly. I can get the mouse pad (on the keyboard) to work, but the keys and Standby buttons on the keyboard & Remote Control does not work.
Can anyone please help - I have only had 3 days use of it
:@((
All of Sony's repairs are guaranteed for one year, this is terrible that you sent your VAIO away and it is STILL not right.
This is very embarrasing for Sony, but so very EASILY AVOIDED!
Send the unit back to Sony and expalin to them that the problem is actually WORSE than when you sent it in. They will have to repair it for you again.
If when you receive the unit back from Sony, it is still not right, then you are well within your rights to ask for a new laptop.
Whatever happens, please keep us informed of your progress with Sony, as it is very interesting to see how they are treating their customers.
Best of luck!:smileygood_luck:
oh.. that's harsh...
i think some drivers are missing so you can't use the remote control and the stand by buttons..
but since you have warranty, faster go to Sony Center and ask them to do a very quick check. Ask them to pay back if problem still at there.. ( just "bang bang" them with your snipers! ) We pay a lots for the designs and the quality....
