Upgrading memory on FE21B

Hi Folks,
I'm looking for some advice on upgrading the memory on my FE21B from 1GB to 2GB. The 1GB sony memory module is over £200 but i can buy two "guaranteed compatible" 1GB modules for £120. Does anyone know if these are OK or should i steer well clear- i just don't want to have to spend ~£450 on sony modules if its not essential?

Hi digit2,

Most of us here in the UK use CRUCIAL.COM and I have never heard a complaint about the modules or their Guarantee.

The Sony pricing policy is impossible to defend - it is 'bought in' from outside suppliers like Samsung and not worth the money.

Enough of us use Crucial to be able to vouch for them.
