XL100 DVD Drive Eject Problem Post Vista

Since upgrading to vista I am now unable to eject discs from my DVD drive using the button on the front of the machine. I can still eject by going to 'computer' finding the drive, right clicking and selecting eject but this is a very painful process.

I have been to device manager and the drive has no yellow '!' next to it.

I have updated all the drivers for vista on the sony vaio site.

Any ideas?

Download the Vista Utilities listed below for your XL100 from Vaio-Link, once downloaded then install the following, in order.

1 Sony Utilities
2 Sony Shared Library
3 Vaio Event Service

Once completed then re-boot your vaio.

You may have to do this more than once..:smileywink:
