I have a Sony Vaio VPCEE2E1E/WI which I used to connect to my TV (a LG Plasma) but the connection stopped working. I tried a different Sony Vaio which I borrowed from a friend to test the TV and the cables and it worked without problem. It use to work since I purchased the Laptop but suddenly, one day, it stopped.
I replaced recently the hard disk and I thought that with a fresh installation of Windows and drivers (from a Sony Vaio recovery disc) would reset everything and make the connection to work, but it didn't.
I tried to reinstall the drivers and few other options which the recovery discs gave me but nothing.
Has anyone a clue of how I could fix the laptop. The laptop works perfectly and it is a shame that this is not working as it was a function which I was really enjoying. Any help? Thanks. Rosario
