i Again seems custumer service does not exist with sony seven days still faulty vaio laptop the offered to pick up mine a declined because the told me would be onether four weeks to get a replacement what a joke now i know Sony because was a insurance replacement and was not bought from a shop i have a 1500 pounds laptop gathering dust i will contact computer active as one member posted and see if the can help i hope the chairman of Sony is sitting cosy on his armchair maiby reading this seems after you buy a sony the do not want to know if they are any problems make sure you are kept for over half a hour on sony vaio custumer service what a joke thanks again Sony this is the last laptop i will buy from you and if any friends i will tell to stay very clear from Sony godfathertre is a pity whatchdog is not here a the moment they would certanly help thanks godfathertre.

I know how you feel, but you have to realise that you really have just got bad luck in this situation. From what I understand of your post (and it really was quite hard considering the acute lack of ANY punctuation - even ! marks), Sony have offered to collect your unit but you have declined.
This is your fundamental fault here, and why I would personally be surprised if you received anything else from Sony help-wise regarding this.
Repairs and replacements take time, I personally waited 7 weeks for my K-series to be returned after an LCD fault. To put it bluntly; take the hit on this and just get them to collect the unit from you.
Whats worse - a unit away being repaired/replaced, or a uni sitting at home not doing anything?
