My new VAIO laptop- VPCE3SOE - came with pre-installed s/ware but none of it works - so far !
M/S Office starter pack - wont start !
AdobeReader - gives run time errors !
Windows 7 came pre-installed but having used 2000 Professional for donkeys years - I can't transfer files from old machine easily..........any tips please ?.
Adobe Reader - Run time errors - when I check compatibility I'm told I'm using Windows XP and not Windows 7 ! Do you need a Windows Office product for this to work? Is it possible that Adobe Reader could have been installed on machine specifying XP instead of 7 ?
Any info you can give an old user to progress my education with my new Sony laptop would be much appreciated.
My old machine came with everything on it in the good old days - so am floundering while bringing myself into the current century !
