No wireless connection NR38E/S

Just got this laptop for about a week now and the wireless connection is disappear. The light which comes on when U turn the swith for the wirelesslan in front of the laptop is not coming on and cant connect wirelessly to my broadband.

Pls what do I do, can someone help pls?

Have you checked that wireless LAN is enabled in the Vaio Smart Network utility.?
