FZ11L SCREEN PROBLEM!!!

I got my FZ11L in this Aug,and I turned it on yesterday,after 5mins I found out my whole screen went BLACK!!!! The screen was just like a mobile went dark without your background light but still able to see it under sunshine or lamp( in my case..Yeah...I use lamp!).I was shocked, and restarted it, but things happend again.However,I can see my BRIGHT screen again after turn down the screen and lift up my laptop to copy down my serial number.Untill now it works fine...

The thing is, my friend told me that I cannot send this laptop back to SONY as after they turn on my laptop and they cannot see a problem with it and will send it back straight away. The most irratate part is I cannot get this "baby" perfect and got a big potential that I may pay extra after 1 year! My last SONY laptop got the same problem but only after I had using it for 5 yrs,so I really don't bother to replace a second hand screen about 200 quid.

Another friend told me the cause of this might be the unstable of electricity ,I doubt it though. By the way..there was no flashing,no strange sound ,just turn to dark, simple!

Is there anybody has this kind of problem before? Should I just hope whether that was a joke I had or just wish it can go dark completely within my 1 year warranty? Haha..

Hello ,guys, I am back!!!
I called SONY on 19th Dec, which I reckon SONY has been holding my laptop for an official 1 month already, and fortunately , one agent told me that they had already shipped out my babe on 11th, which till this moment I haven't seen it.
Although they said they have been waiting for the repair centre guys respond, the last 3 days has passed and still nothing and they promised to call me and which ended up, nothing!
I am quite upset at the moment , and I reckon I am an unluncky girl indeed. I don't know where exactly my laptop is at the moment and rather angry about this whole SONY VAIO REPAIR ROUTINE.
one tiny question, shouldn't SONY call me to confirm they have done my laotop and ready to shipping out with the next couple of days?
Or...what if my laoptop has been wrongly delivered and not able to have it back? shouldn't I get compensation?
the whole thing is still unclear and fingers crossed!!!that I can get "something" back in my YEAR 2008.

HI,guys
I've got my laptop finally and it has been exact 2 mths to see my laptop again after I called them million times and demanded to track my case!
About this shipping-to-my-house-already issue turned out to be they shipped my laptop to another repair centre which I reckon was to France.
They told me that they repaired the speaker and the left button but they couldn't find fault from my screen flicker probelme ,well,the major problem,what can I say after the "two months" harding working done.
fingers crossed, it better not be utterly black after 1 year.
Oh..btw,I used it for 3 months then 2mths for repairing...which means..I got 7 mths left within my warranty.sugar!
