External Hard Drive HD-PG5

Hi, new to the site but desperate for some help please !!

My HD-PG5 external hard drive is not visible in my drives list on "my computer". The blue light is flashing so I know it has power but it is constantly beeping and cannot be read on my computer. HELP !!

Check your external hard drive via Device Management and see if you can fix it from there.

Please advise how I do this and where I will find this information. I'm no computer whizz kid so step by step would be great !!
