C2Z/B My club vaio download trouble

Help help,

I have a VGN-C2Z/B and I'm pretty pleased with it, but there's just one little enerving thing: on my desktop there the "my club vaio"-icon, and when I click it in order to install this My Club Vaio- utility, the downloading starts, but it always locks up at 58%. The most annoying thing is that when I boot my vaio, it automatically starts downloading this my club vaio-thing and I don't want it! So any tips on how to remove this whole utility are very welcome! Anyone any bright ideas?

Welcome to Club Vaio.

Have a look in Task Scheduler (not sure what that is in Dutch) and remove any Scheduled Tasks associated with My Club Vaio.

I also have a C2Z/B (quite cool) and have exact same problem tried the Task schedule diodn't work any more suggestion as am getting tired of the above image popping up during presentations

or alternatively you should be able to stop My Club Vaio.exe from starting if you go to start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Scheduled Tasks..

In task scheduler go to the bottom section of the centre column (it should be called active tasks)

Double click LaunchMCV and in the new window then select delete...
