Video on Demand "Not Available at Present"

The video on demand service appears not to be available. For about four days, I have received a message " Service not available, please try later ".

Has the service stopped, anyone else getting this error message?

Thank you

Edit:

After posting I found the following from Qriocity.

System Notification

Maintenance & System Update Notification

We sincerely regret that PlayStation Network and Qriocity services have been suspended and we are working around the clock to restore service. We have a clear path to have PlayStation Network and Qriocity systems back online and expect to restore some services within a week.

As a result of the security breach, we decided the best course was to rebuild our system and further strengthen our network infrastructure with additional security to safeguard your personal information. Though this task is time-consuming, we thought it was worth the time necessary to provide the system with additional security.

Please be on guard for any communications asking you to reveal additional personal information. Sony will not contact you asking for secure information such as your credit card number, social security number or other personally identifiable information through phone, email or any other method. If you are asked for this information, you can be confident Sony is not the entity asking.

We regret any inconvenience this has caused. This incident is the result of an unauthorized and illegal intrusion into our network, and the matter is being fully investigated.

Yup,

Users of Qriocity have fallen victim to the same hack that targetted the PS Network, because essentially Qriocity uses the same infrastructure as PSN to operate.

So Qriocity users can all now look forward to years of stress continually having to check that our details haven't been used in identity fraud, and hoping that the encryption on the Credit Card details isn't cracked and our credit card accounts emptied :smileyangry::smileyangry:

Cheers Sony :smileyangry::smileyangry:

Sony isn't to blame for the hack, any more than you'd be to blame if your house was burgled.

Video on Demand via Bravia TVs is now available again. Does anyone know though if there's any sort of Welcome Back package available to those of us who only use this service?

I just asked the question above direct to Sony's UK Qriocity Customer Service people, and got the following response:

"Sony has created two different Welcome Back packages to all Qriocity users [sic], the Music Unlimited and the Video On Demand packages; The Music Unlimited Welcome Back package offers users 60 days of free service on all compatible devices. The Video On Demand package on the other hand is not yet finalized. We are currently working on a satisfactory package designed to thank our customers for their patience during the last few weeks and it will be released in due time."
