I have a KDL40EX713. I connected the audio out (red & white phono sockets) on the back of the set to the Aux input on my amplifier. Good sound but with a slight buzzing sound that is there even with the volume turned down on the Hi-Fi. Any ideas? The cable is fine and is good quality.
Sounds to me like an earthing/grounding problem. If the hi-fi is earthed, try it without the earth connected. If the hi-fi is not earthed, try earthing it. One way or the other should cure the buzz!
