I saw a message that my Bravia needs an update. I phoned Sony and they told me to download it from their website onto a memory stick or a USB gadget. . I have neither so I asked them to send me a disc. I was told again to download onto the Memory stick or USB thing., Again I said I have neither and that was the end of the conversation. How on earth do I get the update?
Hi,
treat yourself to one of these, then download it on to the flash drive then plug it in your tv. easy peasy!
If you have a current BRAVIA, then simply connect it to the Internet and you can pull the update down over the connection. Your TV may even have an integrated wi-fi connection.
Thanks
Yes, that as well, but.......... you would think Sony would have mentioned that over the phone!!!!
hi what do you mean when you say pull it down???
Hi,
basically what he means is that if you have one of the latest internet tv's you can download it straight to the tv from the internet, but going by your original question asking Sony for a disc i dont believe thats the case. just use your pc and download it there, then transfer to a flash drive and install it that way.
