I've been looking to replace my W4500 which ended up being condemmed as 'beyond ecomonic repair', (due to vertical banding on the right of the screen), BUT the latest 'mid-range' Bravia's with 3D get slated on every review I read. You have to go for the NX model to get anything decent.
I've also checked out the EX723 instore and 3D is virtually unwatchable due to crosstalk. How on earth did Sony release this set (which is now being bundled as a 3D package - free 3D blue ray player, 2 pairs of glasses and 4 films), with such awful 3D capabilities?
Does anyone own this TV and can vouch for 3D? Is it worth buying as a 2D TV at the £699.95 package deal currently available?

yes, sorry about the link, sometimes they load fine and sometimes they dont!,
as for the panny plasma they are not without fault either, but whatever you decide apon audition it well beforehand and you wont go far wrong.
Hi,
i dont know what store you saw the tv in but its clear its not calibrated right as i would find that hard to believe its that bad, in any event thats a good deal and a far better set than the w4500,

3D = TERRIBLE
Really disappointed as this Sony is in my price range, but will probably end up going back to a Panasonic Plasma.
