Question/Message to the Moderators - How can we stop people spamming our forum with TV/Movie promotions?

I thought this issue was solved, but now it seems you have to report the spam 5 times before it disappears, can you reset it (any SE Moderator)

that no user is supposed to add new thread for the next 10 minutes..

i mean..

i cant even remember how many threads i have markes as spam :smileygrin:

and some users creates like 8-9 messages in just 2 minutes..

its really annoying..

yeah if it's a recurrent user they must be a way to block their IP address

Yes it is quite annoying when we see a spammer just post mutiple of these spam posts in a few minutes.

I believe myself and other forum users may also have reported these spams.

There were also times when I reported the abuse but the spam post was still lingering for some time.

i have never seen a recurrent user to spam..

i mean each time there is a new user..

and if we again report it as spam,,it just says we already received the report..
