I have been trying to to compose an Audio / visual presentation in 4K to be presented on a Sony KD-55AG9 OLED TV. The application I use is "Pictures to EXE". Unfortunately when I attempt to use the preset settings to compose an MP4 video the TV does not recognise the file. However, if I enter the custom setup screen for the conversion I can with reduced quality and frame rate produce a file which will play on the TV if I use a USB 3 stick.
Currently 24 fps and about 2/3 quality setting are the best I can achieve.
Can anyone please inform me what the correct settings should be for the best quality 4K video?
Why Sony do not make this information available I cannot understand!
Many thanks.
Peter.
Hi Peter,
Welcome to the Sony Community.
I'm looking into this and will update the thread when I have an answer. In the meantime perhaps another member of the community may be able to advise on this.
Best wishes,
Sean

What I think? Maybe the USB memory is too slow...
Hi Ashlar8319 ,
There're a couple of things that I don't understand.
Do you use this program on a PC?
What is the final file extension ? Is it MP4?
How do you transfer the file to the TV? Do you remove the USB stick when you try to view it?
Could you possibly provide a video or a photo showing the error message?
Cheers,
