Older Camera won't 'Talk' to my PC.

Hello, when I try to connect an older Sony camcorder to my PC (using i.Link), nothing happens. There are no problems with the PCI board, as other devices work ok.  Is there a solution or is it simply that the older camera isn't compatible?

Hi,

Most likely you will need a appropriate DV Capture software the get the information from the camcorder in your PC.

Have you any idea what may work?  I have already tried Adobe Premiere Pro and Premiere Elements, along with Sony's own recommendation - the old 'Play Memories', but none work.
