Hi,
bought a KD55AG8 and a little over a week later the screen stopped working, sound only.
I contacted Sony and they said I would get a call within 4 hours. Unfortunately the repair agent said that he needed more authorisation as Sony hadn't paid in the past.
Anyway, I got mucked about by Sony Customer Support for two weeks until I asked for a refund. At this point they made me wait five days and then refused. They also refused to give me an address for complaints or a person to write to.
How can a company exist with such bad products and awful customer services. The Sony (UK) is actually in Egypt.

I believe Sony doesn't sell it's own products and now functions like a supplier of sorts to Curry's and the like? Why not take it up with your store instead? Should be much faster, especially if you're within the number of days policy they have. Hopefully this gets resolved soon, I can imagine being locked down and not being able to watch something to pass the time. Regardless though, hope you're staying safe.
