I just read about the upcoming Nougat update for (US?) sony TVs, for example the KDX8300D.

Any idea if this will also happen at the same time for the (UK?) XD83, and if so if this will fix the 5.1 issues?

Anyone know if iplayer in 4K will work on Shield box and Sony 4K 2015 model.

I use iPlayer HDR on my 2015 bravia. Not seen the 4k version yet

Never seen the 4k version on my Android TV even during the world cup when 4k was being pushed by iPlayer, Luckily I have 4k iPlayer on my BT YouView box though.

When Sony started with Android TVs 2015 my Sony 55inch could push 4k .

My TV won't record on digital or satellite channels when you leave it on a hdmi connection and if you switch back to either works perfect with series.
