Xperia 10 II dual issues...

First of all a BIG THANK YOU SONY for making a match for Sony Elm (my first and my favourite super high upgrade with this device). It have so much potential and if you could bring it earlier you were still the number one in every aspect! It's great also for now but look how many Chinese are pretending to do great stuff and you could do it in the first place and are fooling so many to but their crap.

Let me put some cons here that need firmware upgrade:

1. THE CAMERA. Yes indeed stock camera (like always for like.no.other). It's the most important  as it should be in first place because many will get fooled by it not to buy it (sadly I know fools that do that).

a) Focusing it's quite slow and it takes some time mostly on the zoom lens sensor to measure some things and it takes time. Usually the picture is took before the focus is made and for that the picture is in blur.

b) Textures are bad while zooming and the only setup that gives it perfect it's in the Backlight scene that cannot be selected manually (wrong option Sony for 10 II that L4 is having it) only when software is choosing it and in the rest textures are bad in superior mode.

Texture examples:

bb) With Backlight activated (very hard to shot because superior mode must be tricked):

bbb) Without Backlight only software's fast\first choice (it's as bad even worse the HDR shots in manual mode):

c) Manual mode is only for the 12mp sensor back and 8mp front (should be all 4 isn't it?!) and 1 sec shutter speed (low light windows example with zoom -flash on also- because without it exceeds 10 MB) is\are bad as like below: 

For camera conclusion make textures as the Backlight mode (in the first sample above) in every situation of light because it's simply amazing regarding the clarity and colours. Speed up sensors for focusing and fix the manual mode that is so incomplete (only 1 sensor active and so many bugs).

2. Torch light is low. I saw when using blitz the led can get much stronger light. Put that intensity for flashlight mode not only for camera blitz.

3. Phone speakers sometimes are low on calls and YouTube make a mode to give it more sound. Noise reduction from secondary mic still weak, make it stronger. 

4. Fingerprint have a delay on touch. Make it a little more responsive.

For now it's like that. If more issues appear I will write them here. Please take note of these and that I have 59.0.A.5.2 upgrade already installed.

If you are not from Sony, mind you lame business! Have you been paying attention? FInger touch focus nor shtutter button but only fixed focus only in manual with other tons of issues. I did tons of tests (see above) and decided to show this too. Nothing works when driver sucks and stock camera is so lame in manual mode. Other areas regarding system is perfect. Third party camera apps are better but still focusing is bad compared to other older or under this class Xperias. This is worst than L4 and XA1. So stop Bs-ing here dude. Sony must take note if it cares!

Cosmictomato, I did there too, no answer. Sony must see these. It's still an expensive phone. I am putting these issues for my friends too and that is why I am saying all these here. From here Sony must be aware of some things.

Snobbish Rotten, have you ever though about being such a jerk commenting without searching and understanding my opinions? Mind your own BS and do something else. What I am saying  here is for SONY!

I have friends buying phones with me and testing together. I am the only writing here for them too. We are two with 10II and they have the same issues on stock camera.

After more than 4 months on the market, after so many complains, after upgrading to 59.0.A.8.21 getting so late this update (nothing have changed), 10II still have the worst focusing and slow shooting stock camera Sony Xperia ever made (not even L4, XA, XA1 didn't have such a slow camera and unprepared driver for such device). Look for yourself after 59.0.A.8.21 update:

It's a shame Sony bullied in such a way its die hard fans regarding this device and concentrating to have the fastest shooting camera for top devices (L4 still much faster low\high iso shooter than this) and BS-ing this one.

SHAME TO ALL THAT COULD SEND THESE TRUE FACTS TO SONY AND DID NOT!

There are now almost 5 months from the fist email about this real fact (tested is so many ways - look at all thread) issue and latest upgrade 59.0.A.8.33 for 10II still does nothing for camera even the issues are there and even 1II, 5II and even L4 are speedy. 10II is the slowest focusing camera ever without taking note and BS-ing people (we are 2 who have now 10II with identical stock camera stock camera issues and we work in an electronics store that L4 and 10II are resented because of ringtone issues respectively stock camera). Look what answers we received before 59.0.A.8.33 upgrade praying to Sony after so many months to do something having the IMEI and many more details (including that third party apps are better that stock)...

As you can see, they read the issues superficially, they saw it's an issue (they pretend customer support data and in fact that data is no more because of transferring and because no one tells them these issues no one having such an interest to help their sales and they don't send the data to the engineers like it can be seen in this case\thread too) but they don't care about the phones that are being sent back to stores and no one buys them anymore (when its camera is focusing slower like a 2012 device and manual mode is so buggy and shutter speeds under 1\8 are not usable - no Xperia have this fact for stock camera). The low and mid devices as you can see are left way behind compared to 1II and 5II. Sony you are BS yourself! As it can be easily concluded, these sites of Care and Support are also BS as long as people that are working for them do not have the devices and they are such outsiders regarding most of the issues - issues never being send.

Sony this year you are such a disappointment in all aspects!

But of course they wouldn't be able to find the same issue if they're only testing one device, the trick here is contact them individually complaining about the same issue to have as many voices reached, which then in turn would have the issue be quite seen.

As you can see (and read) these were done... Took every way possible by me and my friends. Phones are returned to stores, problems are not solved and they are concentrating only on top devices. These too, top ones, only very limited stock and then nobody can buy them. Sony is BS-ing itself like no other. Not to mention that for L4 have a stock camera made by some third party as long as it's the first camera without DSC naming (being IMG) and very unfamiliar camera noise and color processing (not Xperia).

For those who are die hard fans all of these are known. Sony is not solving and all other ways were used. The results\responses are none or like above and they didn't even fully read the issues.

Who can help making same tests like we do to post here that we have proof of many more devices than our own and make Sony take care for real. We have devices coming with EU customization R23A, R21A...

Upgraded to 59.0.A.8.45, stock camera is still in the same bad condition. Bugs in every mode, freezing while focusing, bad manual mode and focus, extreme imprecise auto focus and slow finding object. Unusable for night and HDR shots quality.

Thank you Sony for thinking about users that BS about these issues of software, letting them unsolved from the beginning without even testing your devices!
