Sony VAIO mousepad not working

Hi can someone help me please yesterday i started to notice that when my sony VAIO VGN-NW20EF is pluged in the mousepad becomes unresponsive it workes fine when its not pluged in but when it is it dos'nt work cheers.

I have not heard of this problem before.

Unless someone else has any thoughts I think you will need to have a word with a repairer.  It is very odd that the problem only shows up when the Vaio is plugged in.

Same here. You got a unique issue. I would check first if it is just the mouse. Try connecting another working one and see if it makes a difference.

Cheking for the latest driver is a good idea too.
