Projector problems- help!

Howdy people.

I have just connected my spiffing K series laptop to a multimedia projector.

Problem being the projected image is very red. I am pretty sure it is not a faulty projector, as its menu colours look fine. There is nothing in these menues that I can adjust to fix the problem.

However, when I play a movie though it, it is projected in all its redness, but I see no image on the laptop screen. Everything else is on the screen though, desktop, programs etc, just not the movie.

Any boffins have a solution? I would relly appreciate some help. Thought it could have something to do with the ATI monitor sharing thinggy, but not sure...

it could be the cable if you think it is not the project

or

right click on properites on the desktop and then to settings and chanhe controls to see if tht solve the problem

thats all i can think off but it could be something if this does not work

If you go on the ATI control panel under the Display settings, you will find independent colour settings for your projector, there is Red, Green and Blue. That should do the trick, otherwise it is the cable. Have you tried other sources through the projector to see if it is a faulty projector?
