hi everyone I have my normal broadband connected from my modem into my computer using the ethernet slot and I have just rung ntl to tell me there is more than likely a hardware problem on the ethernet card it self does anyone have any ideas or help on how I can reinstall the software just on it? and anyother ways to test it?? Thankyou for all you help
What exactly is happening?
Uninstall the driver in Device Manager, right click my computer, click on properties, click on hardware and device manager.
well it is giving a unusual ip address which is causing my computer not to have any internet access at all so I got told replacing the hardware may fix it.
Try this:
Start > Run
Type in IPCONFIG
Press on the reset all button and see if you can get online.
