problem with regestering the device (i'm stupid)

Hi im new to the forums and I have a dilemma

I registered my sony ereader, but after I found that it did not work with adobe digital editions I tried to deregister it and re-regester it :smileysilly:. It ended up saying the code is invalid and already has been used. what steps do i take from now to re-register the device?. sorry for my silliness and thanks..

Hello ebuka.a,

If you're using the Adobe Digital Editions software, then (with your Reader connected to your computer) if you press Ctrl+Shift+E together this will allow you to de-authorise the Reader (or if you press Ctrl+Shift+D then this will allow you to de-athorise the computer itself).  You can then start again to re-register.
