Suggestion: Pre-buffering on A1 (and A9)

I, and i suppose MANY others, would be thrilled if Sony would add pre-buffering in a future firmware update.

(is this already in the works?)

What i mean by pre-buffering is that when you half-press the shutter button the camera starts taking pictures, stores a set amount in the buffer (not on the card), and then when you press the shutter all the way it starts shooting as normal but also saves the images currently in the buffer - thus you will get images from 1-2 seconds BEFORE you press the shutter all the way, and you will get THE moment!

Some other brands/models already have this function , and i don't understand why this is not even a function in the mighty A1, marketed as the ultimate action camera?

Have you tried reaching out to the Sony support reps to leave your suggestion as feedback?

Glad to hear it! I also sent an email to lend my voice to this suggestion ^^

It'd be really helpful to others if you mark your thread as solved so others can know to send their feedback as well, hopefully if enough people care, it gets added!
