Hey guys,
Does any of you know if I could connect an external DAC/amp to my Xperia X via the micro usb port. I dont know for certain. The Z series could do this, but it seems that newer smartphones might not.
The ''enhancing the sound output ''page of the xperia x3c states ''And you can listen to high-resolution audio using a regular headset (connected via the headset socket) or by connecting your device with a digital-to-analogue converter/amplifier (DAC/amp) either wirelessly or by cable via the micro USB port of your device.''
But the Xperia X's page doesnt state anything of the sort. It only mentions the high res audio
Thanks in advance.

It's not on google nor is it on this forum. That's why I asked. Thanks for the effort though.
Since it's not on the web I went and found out myself. The Xperia X does support a DAC / Amplifier. Using the micro-USB port as the audio output of course. (I went to a store where I recently bought some expensive in ears and asked them if they had a DAC which I could try it on.)
Android version 6.0.1
Now I need a way to make this tread searchable.
the closest thing it mentions about it is the LDAC, http://dl-developer.sonymobile.com/documentation/whitepapers/Xperia%20X_WP_2.pdf
