BDV-E2100 freezes at start-up

I have a new BDV-E2100. I installed it and also did the firmware update right away. When I now start the home cinema, one out of two times it will start up and show the menu, and then completely freeze. The only thing I can do is pull out the power plug to restart it. But for the other 50% of the time, it starts up correctly and works OK. Anybody has a clue?
