Clouding on W805 bottom corners

Hello, I just bought a 55W805 and I have a huge clouding effect on the 2 bottom corners of the screen. Does anybody can profide efficient setting which allows to make those white shadows disappear ?

Thank you.

Hi,

this is one of the new models which i'll take a bet not many have got calibration settings for yet, you could start by turning down the backlight to around 3 or 4 then adjust other picture settings to your taste, a good rule with these sets is not to use the "vivid" setting as for most its too " in your face", i was surprised however that the dealer that provided you with the set did not set it up for you.

Thats surprising i've just got the 55W9 and the picture is stunning straight out of the box using the home setting for the display.

If any of your settings aren't turned exstremely out in range, I'll suggest to return the unit. I had a similar issue on my set, which only vanished after total fall out, repair and re-calibration. Either SONY has an ab fabric calibration issue or more likely did your retailer sell you an unit that someone has tampered with.

Ooh gofrost - you bought the 55W9 ? I'm sorely tempted. What do you think?
