Pre-installed Apps
How do I remove/delete unwanted pre-installed Apps from my Sony Tablet S?

I haven't gone down this route, but I understand that the procedure is as follows:
Open apps (top right of desktop), select the app you wish to remove by touching and holding the icon. 'Uninstall' will appear at top right of screen, drag the icon to this and release.

That doesn't work for preinstalled Sony apps which are considered 'system applications' which is really quite annoying... any other suggestions?!

The preinstalled applications are core to the operating platform itself which is why the ability to uninstall them is not available. Most manufacturers are adopting this as Samsung did this will certain applications for their phones etc also.
I have found that they have not hindered the performance of the Tablet so far for me. Is there any reason why you want them gone?

The preinstalled apps, especially the HD games, occupy a huge amount of memory. If I don't want to use these apps, what is the point of tying up the memory that I could be using for REAL apps??
