Must I get a screen protector for my newly bought Sony Tablet S?

A layer of pre-applied screen protector seems to exist on my tablet, how do you guys think about it? It is truly visible and now I'm wondering if it's necessary to get another new for it.:smileyhappy:

you would never guess what but I have recently applied a screen protector,now I read this and it does seem as though there is one pre applied. sony makes no mention of this so my only guess is that the screen is delicate and they just treat it as part of the screen, so now I have a screen protector on top of it.

you don't have to but I got the sony one and whilst pricey it does reduce glare a bit and and the finger marks! Also find it easier to clean.
