I currently have a D-Link DNS-323 NAS but my tablet S doesn't see my documents, my music MP3 files folder so I guess D-Link DNS-323 isn't DLNA compatible.
Any suggestions gratefully accepted

Solved! Go to Solution.
Even if doesn't work with DLNA (which is -in my opinion and for now- very limited), you should access your NAS with a file manager... Did you already test File Expert or File Manager HD? Both can access network shared files or directories.
Then, you'll be able to play any video or music file from your NAS (or any other shared storage device) with a third party video player as Mobo Player or MX Video Player. I do it very often 😉
I use a Netgear ReadyNAS and it works a treat. I access content (pics and music) via the DLNA app, then stream it to the TV. So quick at loading the content of the NAS as well, much quicker than the PS3! Only trouble with the DLNA app is there's no search function :-(.
