The above link was very helpful, and very interesting too.

Well we rang Tescos 'electrical help line' who said they would ring us back at the beginning of the week to arrange a time to look at the tv. They did infact ring back a few minutes later and are coming out to have a look at it on Wednesday (today is Sunday) and if it cannot be sorted here they will be taking it away to see if it can be repaired there, if not it will not be returned here and we will get a refund/replacement.

How much easier would it have been to just let us have the refund/replacement in the first place?? :smileyconfused::smileyangry::smileyshocked:
