Hi
I'm having severe problems with my XL302 hooked up to a Panasonic LXD70 through the HMDI cable. Basically, as soon as the TV is switched off, or onto standby the WLAN is lost and cannot be reconnected without rebooting the PC. When the TV is switched back on, there is a message saying "driver nvldmkm has stopped responding but has recovered". It's starting to become a bit of a pain! I've tried updating drivers with no success as the screen is lost so I have to restore back to when the thing did work and I've also tried the e-support but I think they have given up on me also!!! I don't know if it's the TV or what as the green WLAN light remains illuminated for about a minute after the TV is put in standby mode. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there a way round it?
Many thanks Dale
Ive had similar problems, the solution is using component video cables and a seperate audio cable(coaxial/optical/phono) from your pc to tv (if your tv has the inputs), there is something to do with EDID that vista forces the pc to go to sleep whenever there is no input through digital video (HDMI), component video is analogue and does not have this problem and still gives full 1080p HD video (I have noticed no difference anyway).
Thanks very much for the advice, I'll give it a go!!!
Cheers
