ive been have problems playing my blu-ray films as they now have better encryption. i done an update of 182mb and i could play the film in windvd BD but only in a small window and not full screen. ive just seen a new update for my vaio (ar21s) but the updates fails to loading, saying i do not have the correction version for this update. does anyone at sont check these updates? im getting p*ssed off with all this messing about, i just want to put my film in the blu-ray drive and watch my bloody film!!!
if any one knows how i can get this to play in full screen mode then please let me know.
Are you using Vista or XP ? I have an AR21s too and I can play the blu-ray films without problems (those I have : Casino Royale, Crazy Kung-Fu and "La Cité Interdite" (I think the english title is "The Curse of the Golden Flower")). It seems that lots of people have problems with Spiderman 3.
My config is : AR21s with Vista, Nvidia drivers v167.43, WinDVD BD ver 8.0.8.425. VAIO update downloaded the last update (the one dated 03/01/2008) but I don't know if it installed properly as nothing appeared on the screen after the download... When I try to install the update manually now, it says that I don't have the correct version for this update. So maybe it has been installed, maybe not... Sony says that to check if it has been installed, you just have to open the version.txt file, in which you should see version 8.0.8.425. But it was already the case with the previous update delivered in december so...
Anyway, I can watch my blu-rays without any problem.
