which cpu can I put on my vaio ?

I got a sony vaio, model VGN-C1Z/B, and I think of making a cpu and a grafics upgrade. so where can I go to now what cpu and grafics my vaio is compatiple?
I got: cpu - Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T5500
grafics - NVIDIA® GeForce® Go 7400

Hi GurkiMan and welcome.

It is not possible to upgrade the graphics in your C1Z/B because (like almost every laptop) it has a "Go" chip that is soldered into the motherboard. It would be cheaper to replace the laptop than to change the chip which has literally hundreds of soldered connections.

In theory, you can upgrade your Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5500 with any processor that uses the 479 pin mobile socket but I doubt if you will notice a significant increase in processing power and may cause an overheating problem.
