Hello All!
I have a brand new VPCF13 and though Sony has sent me a replacement drive for the laptop, I still am not able to completely burn a dual layer DVD - it varies per disk how far it gets before it stops/errors out.
This probem occurs whether I am burning to disk directly through Windows or using a thrid party software application.
The BluRay device that is supposed to be capeable of DVD writing to dual layer is an Optiarc BD Rom BCH-5500H
Sadly, I also lost my restore DVD's, because I thought they burned fine to a single later set of 4 and it turned out disc 3 was bad on an attempt to restore the software.
Has anyone else had a problem with this model laptop and/or drive as I am having?
