vgn-s1xp battery charging time

It seems it takes very long to fully charge my battery. What is the average time to charge one. Mine takes about 3 hours. If I'm correct it wasn't this long before. Any ideas on this?

i have never timed how long my battery takes to charge but it takes alot longer if your using the laptop, it charges faster switched off. roughly it takes 2-3 hours depending how low it is.

Whenever possible I use my Laptop pluuged into the mains so I am also unable to give a precise answer.

If that is impossible, I leave it as long as necessary and trust my Vaio's superior knowledge to know when the battery is fully charged.

I beleive you may be able to check the quality of your battery using MobileMeter which was orginal posted by Rich912 in another thread.

i dont think you can because they are sealed units but i cant say for difinate. im not really sure
