VaioIF.exe encounters a problem everytime I leave PC overnight

Hi

Everytime I turn my monitor off for the night but leaving the HDD/PC on, on my new LA1, I return in the morning to turn on the monitor and see the screen saver stuck on with the classic windows error message "so and so has encountered a problem and needs to close"

The so and so is "vaioif.exe" I can't find much on google about what it is and how I can stop this happening because it's interrupting my downloading and preventing any point of leaving ym system on overnight.

Erm legal downloading I hope.

Does this happen every time your screensaver activates whilst you are downloading?

If you turn your monitor off, you don't need the screensaver on.

VAIOIF.exe is the application ‘Vaio Information FLOW’. Are you using the Vaio Flow screensaver by any chance?

Thanks for the input and apologies for the waste of your time.

Yes the info flow screensaver was on and I have no idea why I didn't turn it off before posting on here. I suppose I was being cynical and thinking it was something worse.

Yes jumpsuit, legal downloads - I was using Vizumi, the movie download site. DVD's produce clutter!!
