vaio recovery

hello all

Iv been having the problem of not being able to recover my vaio
When i start the recovery from disc or hard drive at the window were the recovery wizard starts. A window pops up saying

Sony vaio recovery utility canot be used, please confirm the model type.

and the only option is to click okay. When u do this the recovery process cancels. Iv phone sony helpline also i bought the recovery disc with no joy.
If anybody knows what to do then please help me

Try installing the 'Sony Shared Library' utility, the pre-installed utilities for you V2M can be downloaded from here

Just as Thalamus said It's happened to me before & this corrected the problem straight away in my instance
