VAIO PCV W1/F - to unmount the hdd - to start XP in reduced state

Hello

I am consultant, i have a problem of virus with a customer system.
I would like to unmount the hdd and put it as slave in an other computer
in order to save data and scan it with an accurate anti virus.
I would like a technical shema to prevent any mistake.

The VAIO is A PCV W1/f
