I have a VAIO T1XP/L that has given great service for a number of years, however I have recently suffered from a failure of the USB ports
I have tried many ways to get these working again but with no success.
I have restored to factory defaults from the restore partition, updated BIOS and restored default settings, removed power management from the USB ports, deleted the USB ports from Device Manager and then they have been automatically reinstalled - still no working USB ports
The hardware appears to be OK as it will power up a portable drive or charge an iPod
Does anyone have any suggestions or experiences that they would like to share?
Really at a loss and I need to be able to get this going soon as my printer is no longer working!!
